Beautiful Fountains & ThirstyCat Fountains

Thirstycatfountains.com has always striven to create beautifully functioning, completely safe fountains for cats which are at the same time, beautiful for your home. With our companion site, Beautiful Fountains, we have taken the artistry we have always employed to another level, offering fountains created specifically for home décor. 

The driving forces behind the launching of Beautiful Fountains are the artistic abilities that have emerged through the development of our long-time resident artists and the acquisition of new members of our team who exhibit a genuine passion, not just an ability and fondness of, but a passion for creating in ceramics. That, and the founder, Keith’s life-long love of moving water have brought about the creation of our new site and offerings. 

(As an aside of some relevance here, Keith was an internationally acclaimed  landscape designer and is the author of four landscape design books, including Water Features For Small Gardens, from Timber Press. Nearly all of Keith’s landscapes featured moving water in the form of streams, ponds, waterfalls and  water gardens.)

The cost of our indoor fountains is considerably higher than that of our cat fountains. Why that is will be obvious. Almost all indoor fountains on the market are mold-made of resin and to us, unappealing because they appear sterile and feel to be what they are, mass-produced, artificial objects from a production line. 

Each fountain we offer is unique and can be found nowhere else. They aren’t just fountains, they are art, as is often said by our customers of our ThirstyCat fountains. They too are art, but we limit how much we put into them in an effort to keep the prices within reach of most cat lovers. We’ve removed the restrictions at Beautiful Fountains and hope to see an ever increasing and diverse display of wonderful indoor fountains as each of our artists explores the possibilities inherent in the medium of clay and glazes, and their own capacity for creation.
